Recognizing the efforts of the front line workers in the sanitation area in the various departments, Telangana CM KCR has announced incentives for the sanitation workers, with a total sum of over 95000 frontline workers being rewarded.
The working president of TRS KTR had tweeted showing his gratitude to the CM for this announcement. A special incentive of Rs. 7500 is being given to the GHMC and HMWSSB sanitation workers, and the same in gram panchayats and municipalities are to be given Rs. 5000 each.
At this moment of the lockdown all around, government workers have not taken a break and are still on their duty to fight it out for the common people of the state. The sanitation workers have been working round the clock and to appreciate their service, the CM has announced this special incentive. KTR also said that there are a total of 95,392 frontline workers who will be given the incentive.

Refuting the reports about the extension of the lockdown, CM KCR said that there is no decision made to extend the lockdown but he will suggest the PM to extend it and make a conscious decision as the lives lost will not be recovered but a falling economy due to Covid-19 lockdown can be recovered later.
